Galvanizing
Authorised Dealer for John Galt Zinga Technologies
Galvanisation is the process of applying zinc to steel or Iron in order to protect it from rusting. The term is derived from the name of Italian scientist Luigi Galvani. The effectivness of zinc aganist corrosion control is well documented. The most common method is hot-dip galvanization, in which steel parts are submerged in a bath of molten zinc.
Zinga contains 96% zinc in the dry film and can be thought of as cold applied galvanising. Zinga generates the same protective voltage but is simply applied by brush, roller or spray application.
